]]> Happy New Year!!! It’s January 1 and here’s hoping to a much better year than the last. Here’s to a quick solution to getting anyone who wants to be vaccinated, vaccinated and hopefully a return to (a somewhat) normal by fall. We all want to see people and shop in person. We want our small businesses to survive. We want to have a better mental health outlook after being shut in and unable to see friends and family in real life for months (I really don’t understand those who say they’re not at least somewhat affected. You’re not? REALLY??). We want to get out and go to restaurants, travel.

Will some things NOT change? Maybe. I think more companies will be open to working remotely, whether at home or at an office space closer to home. I won’t be surprised if shared workspaces like WeWork see a jump in people seeking space. I wouldn’t be surprised if travel means more road trips and stays at short term rentals (e.g. Airbnb) rather than flying somewhere and staying at a resort. Heck, I wouldn’t mind renting a house in the country for a couple of weeks! And you can still work if your company is still okay with WFH.
